I have been pretty busy for the past few days, on wednesday, i went to the Department of Licensing to get a state ID so i could get my checking account for my business setup. As usual, the place was packed with people trying to get their drivers license and what not, so my dad parked outside the place and we sat in the car waiting for our number to come up. Later on what we found out was that they have a line just for people who are “renewing” things, not that we were, but this guy came out and asked all the people outside what they were doing, we told him what why we were outside, and he told us that, that is the wrong way to do it, because they will let some people skip ahead, even if their number hasn’t been called yet. So we were ushered in and talked with one of the guys at the counter. On this visit, i was only planning on getting a state ID, not my permit renewed, but the guy said that even though it had been more than a year since i got it, that he would let me get it renewed without taking the written because when i had gotten it in the first place i was in a class for driving. So that saved us a trip to the DOL. After that, we went to the bank, and attached a checking account with my savings account and set up a checking account in the name of my business.
Yesterday, I went to Guitar Center to get a tabletop CD player, cause the one i have right now is broken, I got this basic player by stanton for $100, normally $240. I also picked up this two effect lighting things, basically its a spinning mirror that reflects a group of LEDs, and makes patterns on the ground. I got the lights cause im dj’ing this thing at my old high school called the freshman lockin, and I wanted some more lights. All i need to do now to be ready is get one more light stand with the t-bar thing and 2 C-clamps for the new lights. The only thing im worried about is my speakers, they aren’t made for playing music through, more just for spoken word, but my dad keeps on insisting that they are the best, when the guy we talked with in GC said they were probably the worst we could have for what i am doing. For now they will just have to do, cause i don’t have the funds to get anymore, but with some gigs i have coming up i should have enough money to buy a few new speakers. Fortunately, the event later on today is only 2 hours from 5pm to 7pm, so there shouldn’t be any big problems with them overheating or anything.
Still 53 on my main, but i have been talking a little bit of a break to startup a night elf rogue on a server that a few of my friends play on as alliance. Right now the rogue is 14, and i have a bunch of quests to do when i get back on. On my main, im just grinding in the plaguelands to get rep with the argent dawn, is slow going though because every time i go in there there always seems to be alliance players doing exactly what im doing, usually there is just one and i can kill them but then they leave and bring friends, who are much higher level, so i don’t really have a chance. Other than, that my other characters really aren’t getting any attention, though whenever i get on my troll rogue, who has Ench. & tailoring, I can always make some money, right now i think he has around 6 gold, so he is doing well. My main is actually doing well money wise(for me, idk about the norm at my level) he has 126 gold, which is more that i have ever had, now i just need 400+ more so i can get the next level mount when i hit 60, thats basically all im looking forward to for him, cause im already in the outlands, so 58 isn’t going to be any different. One thing i know i need to do on him is start doing more instances to get better gear, i still don’t have carrot on a stick from Gahz’illla in Zul-Farrak, so that might be good, i also thing soon that i can start doing the one instance in Black Rock Mountains, that you need to hop up onto the chain and run to the center of the area.
Thats all that i have for now, i think after this im going to get on my main and do a little more grinding before going to bed. Oh and here is a cool picture i found, showing how powerful macs can be:
