Im going to start out with the topic of the day.
ToD: Your Job
My job is being a mobile dj/sound engineer. I own my own company DJ Bigman’s Mobile DJ Service, and basically what i do is dj parties & school dances as well as running sound for weddings and corporate events. I have a full PA system, as well as lights. Its pretty cool, working for myself, and i love doing it, dj’ing and all. Thats basically it, soon im going to change the name to something like DJ Bigman Productions, mainly because im not just a dj, i do other things, and i want the company name to reflect that. Im also considering becoming a LLC, just to deal with liability of things, i guess, im not sure yet. I have a website, you can check it out at djbigmanmobiledj.com.
Not much going on, just took down my computer and have it ready to take it over to my friend’s house for our little lan party, where we are going to mainly be playing WoW, but im going to make sure we get some Team Fortress 2 and Counter Strike Source in. I have been getting a lot better at both games. In Counter Strike Source, i usually use the Awp, but when that is banned, or limited, i use the scout and take headshots down mid or B tunnels in Dust 2 as well as office, down that long hallway as either CT or T, doesn’t matter. I still do grab my favorite, the M249, and lay down that cover fire, lol, and no i don’t spray and pray, only when im flashed or smoked, gotten lucky headshots that way before. In TF2, i usually do either engineer and get massive amounts of kills on the custom map Mach4 with the turrets, i am also getting a lot better as a medic, and thats what i usually play, im also getting good with the sniper and as spy. Same with CSS, i am really good with the heavy, and when im with a medic, its just massive carnage.
With TF2 in mind, i heard of this BS thing they did with the latest patch, if 2 medics go uber or are uber at the same time, the time it takes for that uber to run out is greatly decreased, so having 3 medics go uber at the same time will make their uber wear out faster than if there were just one medic.
Same old same old in wow, nothing new going on, though i haven’t played any today, i just wanted to take a break before this weekend so i don’t get overly bored with the game, which happens a lot since it is now one of the main games i play in my free time, and when i make time for it. Thats one thing that differs i guess from gamers like me and the casual gamer. For me, part of my day is spent gaming, while with others, IF they have free time, they game. I make sure that i have atleast a few hours to play games each day, and not just when i have time, outside of the other things that i spend time doing.
Thats all that is really going on, there was a slight change of plans, so im not going over to my friends house until around 5:15 or so, so i have about a hour to do w/e, mainly posting this, because if i wait, it won’t get done, and i don’t want to be out of the IMBC so early, if im not the winner, i definitly will be one of the last people, maybe it will be a tie in june, like the year before last with Full Absolution (i can’t remember how its spelled, sry FA) and I. That was long and drawn out, but we finally did agree to just call it quits. I remember that year well because i think it was Hank’s mom or someone, bought (at least me) a light up mouse pad thing, im not sure what FA got, but i thought it was really cool. I guess i never really said it, but thanks Hank’s Mom (of who ever bought it) for the cool mouse pad, even now i still use it.
Thats all i have for now, i just got done patching wow on my laptop, so im going to check my mail and auctions on a few of my characters, and then check to see if i have everything and get them in the car to be ready to leave. Sorry, no picture again, i don’t have anything new, i think ill post something from this weekend in tomorrow’s post or something, idk.
